Happy and Harpy 2022 Everyone
Today is the 1 month anniversary of our Colmcille production live on You Tube – and Christmas, ‘flu, mountainous dinners and mugs of Lemsip, and the turn of the year has happened! But what a year 2021 was!
After the challenges of the last two years, our 1500th anniversary commemoration of St.Colmcille with our great virtual concert on You Tube entitled simply: Colmcille has been the joy of my year.
Thank you, thank you to everyone who participated...
'Colmcille' is free to all to view on You Tube, which means that my only means of funding the cost of the production is by my ‘GoFundMe’ page. THANK YOU to all who have so generously donated so far – and some of the donations were astounding. Thank you indeed – We have reached just over half the production cost. Colmcille 1500
– Our Tribute to the Saint, his inspiration and legacy
As well as the vocal score with the poetry, its background, and more illustrated narrative about the Saint himself, this book also tells of the locations and their significance in the Colmcille production. The book will also pay tribute to the ‘harp orchestras’ that performed it in 1997 and 2021. This, with remastered CD or DVD, this will be a lovely commemoration of our great harping adventure with Ireland’s fascinating St.Columba / Colmcille.

The Camac Recital
There has been a tremendous response to my Camac on-line recital in their ‘Les Jeudis de la Harpe’ series which has now over 4K hits. If you haven’t seen it already, here’s your link.
Much of my performing programme comes from my new album ‘By Strangford Water’ – Both CD and book are doing great - The recording is available on all the streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music etc) and the book with all the music scores is available from my website!

The Warwick Harp Weekends
The Warwick Harp Weekends are featured monthly from Janet’s Harp Studio in the English midlands, and famous home of Shakespeare!. A new feature for 2022 is the Extended Harp Weekends with adding one-on-one training and a group session on both Friday or Monday for those wishing a more intensive training. The weekend courses start at 10.30am on Saturday morning, going to 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
