Countdown...
Countdown to Colmcille 1500 Project
Fellow Harpers and Harpists! –
October is the recording month for your COLMCILLE SUITE VIDEOS and the deadline for sending them to us is October 31st. This is to allow for the mammoth task of editing so the production going live on December 7th at 6pm GMT is guaranteed.
This project has been the joy of my ‘lockdown’ months and has brought many new friendships and revived old ones. For the 100+ participants, this is your countdown month and the rehearsal workshops on Mondays and Fridays, October 11, 15, 18 & 22 should help to polish your performances before your video recordings…

Glencolmcille Harp Weeks in 2022 - Booking is Now Open
June is the month featuring 2 week courses starting on June 7th and June 14th by the wild and wonderful north-west Donegal coast.
In the village of Glencolmcille, where St.Colmcille had a tiny chapel at the foot of Beefan mountain, a place of annual pilgrimage since his death in 597AD (and we may join the pilgrimage on June 9th), you will be inspired to make beautiful music – to significantly progress your playing skills with Janet who has trained many of today’s most admired and professional performers.
You will also find your comfort and confidence playing with others and immersing yourself in the heartland of Irish traditional music.
Week 1 from Tuesday June 7th to Monday 13th is for Adults and Teachers;
Week 2 from Tuesday 14th to Monday 20th is for Adults and Teens.
Teens are also welcome on Week 1 but must be accompanied by a supervising adult as our supervision is on board only for Week 2.
