Leap of Faith

Rather than being inspired by anything sacred, this piece presents a ‘leap of faith’ because of the great jumps for the harp player in playing it! Traditional musicians will recognise the first of the two slip-jigs entitled ‘The Whinney Hills of Leitrim’; from which the theme of the second is taken for the ‘Leap of Faith’. As there is a descant in the reprise of the first tune, I have recorded myself over the first performance!
