10 Give me your hand

Composed by Rory Dall O’Cathan, who, tho’ a blind harper like many others, was of noble birth and on one occasion, he visited the house of Lady Eglington of Ayreshire in Scotland.  The lady did not recognise O’Cathan inadvertently insulting him - and feeling slighted, O’Cathan took his harp and left the house.  Lady Eglington was made aware of her mistake and pled with him to return and compose a special piece celebrating the peace they made together.  This was O’Cathan’s composition in reconciliation.
