Amhrán na Leabhar
This arrangement by Janet has been recorded by a number of other harpers making it a favourite in the harper’s repertoire. It is the lament of a school teacher who drowned when rowing his currach back from Valentia Island in bad weather. It is also a lament for the loss of his books; hence the title which means ‘Song of the Books’.
