One of Ireland’s most beautiful airs – known both as an ‘air’ and a ‘slow air’ because of its ‘old style’ character.

The air was noted down by Herbert Hughes and set to new lyrics by the poet Padraic Colum and published in 1909. 

This tune is arranged here as a solo but also exists arranged for harp ensemble.
