Piece composed for the bicentenary of the Belfast Harper's Assembly.

Frequently, the final piece in our concert programme for its buoyant character, the piece opens with a fanfare of cathedral bells, moving to the lazy chime of a country church, finishing in a carillon with a dramatic conclusion.

This piece was composed for the (‘Cheiftains’) harper Derek Bell in 1992 for the bicentenary of the Belfast Harpers’ Assembly. Set in 2 harp parts for levels 1 and 3 with a solo part for a Level 3 player. A minimum of 6 players is needed for this arrangement.
