St. John's March was composed by Janet Harbison for the wedding of Thomas and Anne Donaghy in Saint John's Abbey, Kilkenny in 1987. Thomas is a first cousin of the composer and this was her wedding gift to the happy couple.
Saint John’s March exists also as a harp solo.
