 An original piece composed for Derek Bell, Harper with the Chieftains.

 This is the original version of the piece composed for Derek Bell, harper with the Chieftains in 1992.  Involving a ‘play’ on ‘Bells’, the piece is in 4 sections: the first is inspired by the great gonging bells of a cathedral campanile; the second by a distant country churchyard; the third by the morning alarm and the last is an embrace of all the bells in a rousing vibrant finale.  This is a great concert piece.
