Traditional Irish Harp Tutor Junior for Beginners illustrated by Ruth Harbison

ALSO AVAILABLE IN HARD COPY

Designed for Juniors from 7 to 11 years old, this delightfully illustrated tutor book is full of familiar and easy harp tunes to develop little fingers, comfort and confidence with the instrument.

With tunes presented in sequence of difficulty, the book features familiar nursery rhymes with new lyrics such as “Old MacDonald had a harp, E-I, E-I, O; And on his harp he had some strings….” and  “This old man, he played ‘one’, he played harp strings with his thumb……” There are also some original tunes such as “G-B-D spells the chord of G” and the “A-B-C Song” to help establish the elementals.

The illustrations by Ruth Harbison, Janet's neice, are a wonderful addition for our young learners and offer the opportunity to colour in and enjoy the visual representations of notes, chords, clefs and more.
