Group Training Courses2 harpists together

JUNE 30 - JULY 3 (Thursday evening - Sunday afternoon, 3 full days of summerschool)

In Summer 2022, due to popular demand, I am hosting a repeat of last year's 3 day summer course when my harp week at Marlborough College summerschool was cancelled.  In Warwick, at the heart of England and Shakespeare's county, we had a wonderful few days with training, social harping, sessions and sunshine to beat the band.  So, in 2022, we're staging a repeat occasion - while all the other courses are also happening!

Based at the Harp Studio, St.Nicholas Park, Warwick CV34 4QY, the Weekend starts on the evening of Thursday June 30th, and avail of our discounted Harp Weekend accommodation at the Castle Limes Hotel (@£70 per night but must be booked directly with the hotel, not through an agency).

Here is the schedule:

Thursday evening: Garden Party at the Harp Studio from 6.30pm and Opening Harp Session from 8pm

Friday: Training from 9.30am to 4pm with lunch locally.  Guided walk around Warwick town or countryside from 4pm, dining locally and Recital with Janet at local venue from 8.30pm

Saturday:  Training from 9.30am - 4pm with lunch locally.  Optional visits to Warwick Castle or another heritage venue; harping at a church (RC) service at 6pm; Dining at The New Bowling Green with local musicians and a 'great & late' session night...

Sunday: Training from 10am to 1pm with 'Irish' lunch at the Harp Studio with optional extra 'looking forward workshop' 2 to 4pm.

Lunch in Janet's kitchen (or garden if weather is glorious) featuring a bowl of healthy soup (or a salad) with freshly baked Irish brown soda bread

This comprehensive extended weekend course is guaranteed to impact on your skills, joy and harp circle!
